Fantasy Lodge: A Hideaway Resort in Southern Cebu

We started this one at the airport in Hong Kong, but not for long. A three-hour flight brought us to Cebu City, one of our favorite places in the world, and a drive of nearly four hours took us to Samboan, near the island’s southern tip.

Home for the next few days was Fantasy Lodge. We toured our Casa Amihan suite, had dinner at the resort restaurant and finished the night soaking in the kawa baths. It was a quiet start to a stretch of adventures in southern Cebu, and exactly the kind of base we like. See more on our Philippines page.
