Our hosted trips are a little different from anything else you can book with ABC Trips. Yes, you’ll still get the incredible hotels, ships, wildlife, food, scenery and bucket-list experiences we’re known for—but when our family is traveling with you, we like to add a lot more to the mix.
That might mean arriving a couple days early for a pre-trip adventure, sticking around afterward to keep the fun going, organizing private parties or group dinners, planning an excursion that isn’t part of the standard itinerary, or simply rounding up whoever’s interested and heading out to explore. Some of our favorite travel memories have come from the things that weren’t on the official schedule, and we build our hosted trips to leave room for plenty of those moments.
We’re also there as your on-site travel concierges from beginning to end. Need help figuring out what to do with a free afternoon? Want a dinner recommendation? Have a question, a problem, a change of plans—or just want somebody to grab a drink with? Find us. We’ll spend time with the group together, but we also make a point of getting to know our travelers individually.
And because every hosted trip becomes part of the ABC Trips story, you’ll take home a few things you can’t get on a normal vacation. Hosted-trip travelers collect exclusive Club⁷ gear from our custom line created for people chasing all seven continents, along with a limited-edition metal holiday ornament designed in the style of a vintage luggage tag—one created especially for each hosted adventure.
We only host a handful of trips each year, and every one is a little different. The destination matters, of course. But our bigger goal is to create the kind of trip where everyone starts out as fellow travelers and comes home as friends.
That also makes these trips especially great for solo travelers. You can show up on your own without ever really traveling alone—there’s already a built-in group to share meals, excursions, laughs and adventures with from day one. And if we do this right, you may arrive solo and head home with a whole new crew of friends you’ll be planning trips with for years to come.
