Atlas Ocean Voyages Is Running a Travelzoo Sale. We'll Match It, and Make the Phone Call.

The sitch, and why you don’t have to book it on Travelzoo

Atlas Ocean Voyages put a new campaign on Travelzoo on September 9, 2026. Twenty-two sailings, per-guest fares with the government taxes and fees already bundled in, and the numbers are the kind that make people who have been “thinking about Antarctica for a few years” suddenly stop thinking. They are public, so I can print them, which makes a nice change from the last two posts.

Here’s the part Travelzoo doesn’t tell you. Atlas has confirmed to us, as it has on its previous campaigns, that it will match the Travelzoo fare for our clients. The catch is procedural: the match has to be requested through Atlas’s reservations team by phone or email, which is exactly what we do all day. So the deal is this. You tell us the sailing, we make the call, you pay the Travelzoo number, and you get an advisor attached to the booking instead of a coupon code and a call center. Same yacht, same suite, same fare, one more person on your side.

Antarctica, this season and next, at Travelzoo money

Ten of the 22 are Antarctica, and five of those sail before the end of 2026. That’s the sleeper headline here: last-minute polar at roughly half of Atlas’s bundled fare, on 200-guest yachts with a butler-served suite deck, from the same Ushuaia pier everybody else leaves from. If you missed the boat last season, this is the do-over.

The “from” fare is the lowest category Atlas listed for that departure, usually an oceanview guarantee, and the suites run up from there. The two King George Island departures are the fly-cruise version, two hours in the air from Punta Arenas instead of two days on the water; if the Drake is the thing holding you back, we wrote about that this week too. The 16-night Buenos Aires to Ushuaia runs are the long way round, and the ones most worth a second look if you have the time. Spring 2027: the Canaries, the Med, the Atlantic coast, and Norway to Iceland

Eleven of the remaining twelve are the yachts repositioning north after the polar season, which is where expedition lines quietly sell their best value. Seven to ten nights, ports the big ships can’t get into, and fares that start where a Med balcony on a mass-market ship starts.

Plus one Caribbean warm-up that sails in four weeks: World Navigator, St. Maarten to Bridgetown, seven nights from October 14, 2026, from $1,999 per guest. Yes, really. It’s the cheapest way onto one of these yachts that I have seen.

Picks, if you want them: the Lisbon to Bordeaux week in May is the one I’d take myself, because the Atlantic coast of Spain and France is the part of Europe nobody cruises and everybody should. Bergen to Reykjavik is the fjords and the North Atlantic crossing without the expedition price tag, and the Las Palmas round trip is the Canaries done properly, island by island, instead of one afternoon in Tenerife.

The fine print, minus the lawyer voice

New bookings only. An existing Atlas reservation can’t be repriced to these. If you’re holding a quote from us on one of these sailings and haven’t deposited, though, this is your moment.

Fares are per guest, double occupancy, taxes and fees included. The number in the table is what you pay, not the number before a second line appears. Solo travelers: Atlas is holding a limited number of cabins at a 125% supplement, which on these fares is a genuinely good solo deal.

Limited space on select categories. The lowest fare on each sailing is tied to a handful of cabins, and Atlas has said plainly that it will close inventory as it fills. The November 28 Ushuaia departure at $7,499 is the one I expect to go first.

Not combinable with anything else. No stacking with Atlas’s other promotions, past-guest savings or onboard credits. On these numbers you won’t miss them.

No published end date. Travelzoo campaigns run until the space is gone or Atlas pulls them, and this one already overlaps some sailings from the last campaign. Treat it as open now and closed without notice.
