Oceania's Fall Sale: Up to 40% Off, and the Good Stuff Is Still Included

The sale, in one breath

Oceania Cruises opened its Fall Sale on September 16, 2026, and it runs through November 3. Up to 40% off select sailings, across stateroom categories from the Penthouse Suites down to the inside cabins, on three slates of itineraries: the Mediterranean, the Caribbean with the Panama Canal and Mexico, and the Baltic, Scandinavia and Northern Europe. That’s the whole headline. Everything below is the part that decides whether it’s a good deal for you or just a good-looking one.

The reason to pay attention isn’t the 40, because “up to” is doing its usual job in that sentence and most departures will land somewhere below it. The reason is what Oceania leaves in the fare while the number comes down. On a lot of lines, a sale this size quietly strips the extras. Here, they stay.

What “always included” actually buys you

Oceania’s fares carry four things that most cruise lines sell back to you a la carte, and the sale doesn’t touch them:

• All specialty dining. Oceania’s whole identity is the food, and the specialty restaurants are the reason. No cover charges, no “one reservation per sailing” fine print.
• Shipboard gratuities. Prepaid, done. Nobody hands you an envelope on the last night.
• Wi-Fi. Complimentary, which matters more on a ten-night Mediterranean run than it sounds.
• Your choice of a drinks package or a shore excursion credit. Wine and beer by the glass at lunch and dinner, or credit toward the excursions. Pick whichever one you’ll actually use.

Add that up against a “cheaper” fare somewhere else that charges you for dinner, tips and internet, and the gap closes fast. We’ve done that math for people who arrived convinced the other line was the bargain. It usually isn’t.

Where the sale points

The Mediterranean. This is the deepest part of the slate and the easiest sell. Italy, Greece, Spain, the French Riviera and Portugal, with the occasional Turkey call, on ships small enough to dock in the towns rather than a bus ride from them. Oceania’s mid-size ships are the reason its port-intensive Med itineraries work; you step off onto the quay in town rather than looking at it from an anchorage. The Caribbean, Panama Canal and Mexico. Winter sun with a better kitchen than the mega-ships, and the Panama Canal transits are the sleeper picks here. A canal crossing on a ship this size is a very different day from doing it on a floating resort with four thousand neighbors. Cozumel and the Mexican coast round out the slate.

The Baltic, Scandinavia and Northern Europe. Copenhagen, Stockholm, the Norwegian fjords, sometimes an overnight in a capital so you’re not choosing between the museum and the dinner. If you’ve been meaning to do Norway by sea without the expedition price tag, this is the lane.

The fine print, minus the lawyer voice

Select sailings only, and Oceania hasn’t published the list. The sale applies to specific departures, and the percentage varies by sailing. We weren’t handed a spreadsheet this time, which means the honest way to find out whether your dates qualify is to tell us the dates. It takes us a few minutes to check.

Categories PH through G. That’s the Penthouse Suites at the top down to the inside staterooms at the bottom, with the discount varying by category and sailing. The top-tier suites above PH aren’t part of this.
