Antarctica Expedition Experience on Seabourn Venture
Touching continent seven in Antarctica—sailing into a volcano, meeting penguins, ice-breaking, kayaking for glacial ice, and bracing for the Polar Plunge.

Episode Overview
Nine months after opening registration for our first group trip and five days into that adventure, our family is finally about to step foot on our seventh continent this year. If you missed our previous episode, where we began our antarctic voyage on the luxurious Seabourn Venture, you might want to start there, but now we’re about to sail this Class 6 expedition ship into an ancient volcano, get up-close and personal with our first colony of penguins, plow through a sea of ice (with a little help from me), and open water kayak in search of some rare glacial ice that we can use to craft thousand-year-old cocktails back onboard. But will this be the day we’re called up for the Polar Plunge?
