Puerto Princesa Bay Cruise and Iwahig River Fireflies, Palawan

Day three in Puerto Princesa was all about the water. We spent it island hopping across Palawan’s bay, stopping for lunch with our toes in the sand and as much beach time as the schedule allowed.

When the sun went down, we headed to the Iwahig River to stalk fireflies in the dark, which is exactly as magical and as quiet as it sounds, at least until the kids start whispering. We wrapped up the day dining over the water and under the stars, a fitting end to a long, salty, happy day in the Philippines.
