Mumbai’s Spice Markets, Bazaars and Street Food

Mumbai doesn’t do anything quietly, and that includes its food. We started in the spice market, cooled off at Taj Ice Cream and then went hunting through the Thieves Market.

From there we ate our way across the city: chico fruit and a stop at Kyani & Co., puris at Pancham Puriwala, vada pav at Aram, a beachside snack from Bankelal Sharma and dosas near Babulnath. It’s a lot of ground to cover in a day, and every stop gave us a different taste of the city. See more on our India page.
