Market to Table With Local Chefs in Šibenik, Croatia

This is one of our favorite in-home chef experiences anywhere. We met two locals, Martina and Tina, at the Šibenik marketplace, where they walked us through shopping for fresh ingredients for an authentic Croatian meal.

Then we carried everything back to our seaside villa in Primošten, cooked together in the kitchen and sat down to eat on the Adriatic coast. Shopping a market alongside people who know it, then cooking what you just bought, is about as good as a family cooking lesson gets.
