Cuna de Tierra: A Private Winery Tour in San Miguel de Allende

In San Miguel de Allende we took our first adults-only excursion: a private tour of Cuna de Tierra, the Guanajuato region’s first winery. It’s a short drive from the city, and its architecture has even won recognition from Architectural Digest.

We toured the vineyards, the barrel room, the bottling room and the winemaking areas. Then we sat down to a private lunch of wines, cheeses and charcuterie, overlooking vines an olive’s toss from our table. It was just what the babysitter ordered.
