A Beach House on Harbour Island, Bahamas

Our Bahamas trip began with a puzzle: how to get from Denver to Harbour Island in a single day when ferries and flights don’t connect every day of the week. We got creative, and it worked.

The home was worth the effort. Just steps from the pink sand and turquoise water, it was a private hideaway tucked among stone walls and mangroves, with a full kitchen, well-separated bedrooms and a private pool that kept the kids happy while we got some work done. Beyond the house, we rode horses into the ocean and jumped into yet another cenote before moving on to the next leg of our Bahamian journey.
