Sushi Fix: The Club serves as a dual-purpose venue featuring a lively nightclub atmosphere with dancing, live music, and DJs in the evening, as well as a popular spot for fresh, made-to-order sushi. "Sushi in The Club" is offered daily from 6–9 PM, serving sashimi, nigiri, and maki rolls. We always arrived a bit early to get first dibs on the fish and to get a good table for the nightly trivia!

Seabourn's next ultra-luxury, purpose-built expedition ship, the Seabourn Pursuit offers the same luxurious small ship experience that travelers have come to expect from Seabourn, while transporting guests to the most coveted, remote destinations in the world.

Our Perspective

The Pursuit represents the ultimate evolution of the expedition ship. It doesn't feel like a vessel that was "strengthened" for the ice; it feels like a 6-star boutique hotel that was built from the keel up to dominate the Southern Ocean. We scouted this ship for its "unforced luxury"—where the transition from a 2-hour Zodiac landing in a sub-zero blizzard to a glass of vintage champagne in the Discovery Center happens in minutes.

What Stands Out

  • The Expedition Team: This isn't a "cruise staff." These are legitimate scientists and polar scouts. Their level of field intelligence during the daily briefings adds a layer of depth that generic luxury lines simply cannot match.
  • Custom Submersibles: Being able to scout the Antarctic sea floor from a 6-person submarine is a transformative experience. It’s one of the few ships where the "scouting" happens both above and below the waterline.

Who It’s Perfect For

  • The Sophisticated Adventurer: If you want to see the most remote corners of the planet but refuse to compromise on the culinary or spa standards of a fine land-based resort.
  • Bucket-List Couples: It is arguably the most romantic way to experience the White Continent.

The Bottom Line

While some ships prioritize the "rugged" nature of an expedition, Seabourn Pursuit proves that the most extreme environment on Earth deserves the most refined sanctuary. Along with its sister ship, Seabourn Venture, it's our top recommendation for travelers who value comfort as much as discovery.
