Six Favorite Restaurants in the Hamptons

Our 33rd stop as a semi-nomadic family brought us stateside to the Hamptons on Long Island, New York, where we settled into a brand-new, four-level townhouse in Hampton Bays and set out to eat and drink like the locals.

We started with Sant Ambroeus in Southampton, then worked our way through Cowfish in Hampton Bays, the Boathouses at Canoe Place, Jean-Georges at Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton, Montauk Lobster House in Sag Harbor and Jerry and the Mermaid in Riverhead. After a s’mores break, we wrapped up at Sundays on the Bay. Bring an appetite, and maybe a bib.
