Denver’s Best Sushi Restaurants

Back in Denver for a week, we went looking for the city’s best sushi. A landlocked city may not be the first place you think of for raw fish, but that challenge is exactly what pushes Denver’s sushi chefs to try harder, with styles ranging from classic and purist to modern fusion.

Our rounds took us to Bamboo Sushi in the Highlands, Okinawa Sushi, Sushi Den and its sibling Izakaya Den, and Uchi in RiNo. Along the way, we unboxed a sake tasting box at home, because research is research.
