Cliff House Maine: An Oceanfront Resort in Cape Neddick

A tour of Cliff House Maine, an oceanfront resort in Cape Neddick with clifftop views, pools, fire pits and a private lighthouse tour by speedboat.

After four nights on Nantucket, a tiny plane back to the mainland and a night in Boston, we road-tripped north to Cliff House Maine in Cape Neddick. The resort is rich in history and views, and the brave can take the staircase down the oceanfront cliffs to the crashing waves below.

Even if you never leave the grounds, there’s plenty to do: several pools and hot tubs, bars and restaurants, hiking trails, fire pits, a theater, an art gallery and a spa. We toured our three-bedroom suite and the grounds, then headed out by speedboat for a private lighthouse tour.
