Watch: The Real Town Behind The Truman Show

The movie The Truman Show was filmed in the real town of Seaside, a charming and influential community along Florida’s Emerald Coast.

Many Hollywood movies are filmed on sets that appear to be real locations, but Jim Carrey's film The Truman Show was filmed in a real location that they pretended was a Hollywood set. That location, which is called Seahaven in the film, is actually Seaside, Florida, along the state's Emerald Coast (or 30A) and it's one of the most influential and charming towns in the world.
