A Hilltop Château in Mougins on the French Riviera

After a year exploring the mountains, coasts and islands of the Americas, Europe lifted its travel restrictions and we booked a two-week trip that began in Mougins, France. This hilltop village sits just inland from Cannes and Nice, and our two-bedroom flat looked out over the Bay of Cannes and the town center.

We spent the first week exploring the area’s marinas, islands and towns: La Réserve, a tour of our apartment, a walk through Mougins village, Cannes and Île Sainte-Marguerite, and an afternoon in Antibes.
